Food Justice finally got their act together this weekend and actually had a FEAST. We called it a Salon though because we also had some really great conversations about food, justice, and some alliance we have. Everyone cooked wonderfully delicious foods that shared a Mexican theme--enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas, and guacamole. It was such a success, we are planning more! These salons are open to any individual who is interested in good, home cooked, healthy, hearty, food. With food, comes conversation too, we try to incorporate learning, educating, and discussion as a means to awareness. We had a great turnout this first time and hope to see some new faces!
