Come Get Dirty!!!!!

On March 6th, come join the Food Justice Alliance in the GroW Community Garden at 10 am for a day of remaking our garden. Grab your garden gloves and head on out for some super fun!!!

Here is a list of activities that will be going on:

- Laying out a path with brick pavers and lining it with mulch.
- Making a display for our compost bin.
- Removing old dirt from the beds.

Upcoming fun things:

-Creating a garden mural.
-Spring planting!

Cupcakes, Coffee and Compost!?!?!

Join the Food Justice Alliance in the Thurston TV Lounge on Monday, Feb. 22 @ 7pm for FREE cupcakes and coffee. We will be educating students on how to compost in their dorm rooms, while enjoying a tasty snack!

Co-sponsored by the RHA and SA this is sure to be a mouth watering good time!

Don't Snow on Our Parade!

While we wait for the snow to melt away from our yards and sidewalks, the Food Justice Alliance is preparing for a great spring harvest!

This weekend the group is ordering our seeds and can't wait to get back into the dirt! Be on the look out for our spring planting list and volunteer opportunities.
